New practice AI automation & AIOps

Automate the work your team should not still be doing

Most enterprises have already bought AI licences. Very few have changed how work actually happens. Inovent builds the automation layer — AIOps, agentic workflows, document processing and governed AI access — on top of infrastructure we know how to operate.

The problem

Monitoring tells you it broke. Automation fixes it.

A typical managed estate generates thousands of alerts a month, and a large share resolve the same way every time: restart the service, clear the queue, extend the volume, reset the credential, approve the access. Humans are doing that work because nobody built the alternative.

We build the alternative. The alerts you already pay us to watch become the trigger list for automation, and the backlog shrinks every quarter instead of growing with headcount.

Capabilities

Six places AI earns its keep

Each one is deployable on its own. Most clients start with the first and add from there.

01

AIOps & anomaly detection

Machine-learning baselines across network, compute, storage and application telemetry. Alerts fire on genuine deviation, correlated into one incident instead of forty — cutting alert noise and shortening mean time to detect.

02

Agentic runbooks

AI agents that execute your documented runbooks: triage, restart, scale, rotate, patch, provision. Each action is permission-scoped, reversible and logged, with human approval gates wherever you want one.

03

Intelligent document processing

Invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, crew certificates, claim forms and compliance records read, validated against your rules and posted into ERP, finance or PMS systems — with exceptions routed to a person.

04

Copilot & private LLM enablement

Microsoft 365 Copilot rollouts done properly — data classification and permission hygiene first — plus private model deployment in your own Azure or AWS tenancy, or on-premises, where data cannot leave.

05

Data platforms & analytics

The groundwork AI depends on: pipelines, warehouse or lakehouse, data quality rules, semantic models and dashboards. Without this, AI output is confident and wrong.

06

AI governance & security

Acceptable-use policy, model inventory, prompt and output logging, DLP, PDPA alignment and role-based access — so your auditors and your board get a straight answer about what AI is doing inside the business.

Method

From idea to production in four phases

No eighteen-month transformation programme. We put one automation into production fast, prove the saving, then widen scope with the evidence in hand.

Discover & qualify (1–2 weeks)

We shadow the work. Ticket volumes, repeat causes, manual handoffs and document flows are measured, then scored on volume × effort × error rate. You get a ranked automation backlog with estimated hours returned per month.

Pilot (2–4 weeks)

One or two candidates built in a controlled scope, running alongside the human process so results can be compared directly. Success criteria are agreed before build, not after.

Harden & integrate

Permissions tightened, error handling and rollback added, logging wired into your SIEM and service desk, documentation and handover written. The automation becomes a supported production service with an owner.

Operate & expand

Monitored under the managed service with monthly reporting on tasks automated, hours returned and exceptions raised. The next items come off the backlog each quarter.

By industry

Where this lands first

Financial services

KYC document extraction, reconciliation exception handling, regulatory report assembly, access certification and audit evidence collection.

Manufacturing

Shop-floor telemetry anomaly detection, predictive maintenance signals, supplier document matching, quality report generation.

Marine & offshore

Noon-report and fuel data consolidation, crew certificate expiry tracking, planned maintenance document automation, emissions reporting.

Logistics & transport

Delivery order and proof-of-delivery capture, exception triage across carriers, freight invoice audit, fleet telematics alerting.

Healthcare

Referral and claim document processing, appointment workflow automation, clinical system integration monitoring — with strict data residency.

Public sector & education

Form intake and routing, service-desk deflection through self-service agents, records classification, grant and procurement document review.

Straight answers

The questions every client asks

Does our data get used to train someone's model?
No. We deploy within your own cloud tenancy or on-premises, using enterprise endpoints with training opt-out contractually in place. For sensitive workloads we deploy open-weight models you host yourself, so no data leaves your boundary at all.
What happens when an AI agent gets it wrong?
Agents operate inside scoped permissions with a defined blast radius, and every action is logged and reversible. High-impact steps sit behind human approval. We set confidence thresholds so uncertain cases route to a person rather than being guessed at — the exception rate is reported monthly.
Will this replace our IT team?
It replaces the queue of repetitive tickets they resent. In practice the same team covers a larger estate and spends time on engineering work instead of resets and restarts. We are explicit about this in the business case rather than selling headcount reduction you then have to defend.
We are not on the cloud. Can we still do this?
Yes. AIOps, runbook automation and document processing all run against on-premises estates. Cloud makes some patterns cheaper, not possible. If a cloud move is the right call we will say so, and it becomes a separate decision with its own business case.
How is this priced?
Assessment is a fixed fee. Build is fixed-price per automation once scope is agreed. Ongoing operation folds into the managed service as a monthly line item tied to what is in production. No per-seat licence surprises.
How does this sit with PDPA and our auditors?
We document data flows, retention and access for every automation, keep a model and use-case inventory, and log prompts and outputs where required. Our deployments are designed to be shown to an auditor, not explained away to one.
